2. Complete exercise 8 – Questions 1 – 4
Upload all answers on your blog.
THE BEATITUDES
1.Blessed are the poor in spirit for the kingdom of God is theirs.
2. Blessed are the gentle for they shall inheirt the earth.
3. Blessed are those whp mourn for they shall be comforted
4. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for uprightness for they shall have their fill.
5. Blessed are those who are merciful for they will have mercy shown to them.
6. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
7. Blessed are those the peacemakers they shall be recognised as children of God.
8. Blessed are those who are presecuted in the course of uprightness the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
BEATITUDE VALUES
a. Being willing to suffer for the right thing even if abused verbally or physically, accpeting the consequences of living a good life.
b. putting trust in God not things.
c. peacemaking loving those that are hard to love.
d. getting involed, helping the downtrodden, working for the equality of people.
e. patient suffering and enduring hardships reap their reward.
f. humilty in all we do, nonviolence
g. loving God with one’s whole heart, whole mind and whole soul/
h. mercy and forgivness
BEATITUDES FOR TODAY
a. Blessed are you because at all times and at every moment you want to be an instrument of peace; seeking reconciliation above all things.
b. Blessed are you because you hunger and thirst for justice; your heart beats in the rhythm of the heart of jesus.
c. Blessed are you because you have allowed your own conscience to develop; you have accpeted persecution; you have not been afriad to proclaim the truth.
d. Blessed are you in your poverty; you are not shut in the false world of convention, riches, and human security.
e. Blessed are you because you are gentle, your refuse violence and aggresiveness.
f. Blessed are you because your heart is pure; you do not accept compromises.
g. Blessed are you because you are merciful; you attach your heart to misery; you will recive money.

Individual Task 4

1.) Give a brief description of who the Dalai Lama is? (Include resources to support)
Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of the Buddist community. He is also a teacher for the Buddist communtiy aswell to teach the ways of the Budda.
2.) Evaluate how the actions of the Dalai Lama in regard to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as exemplary moral integrity.
He was going to give up his position as a teacher and leader of the buddist community to help other with bigger problems in life.

1.) Describe the term ‘interactive TV’.
Interative TV is when a viewer is ingaged with the channel or tv show that they are watching and shows that are really interested in the content that is shown infront of them.
2.) Explain the reasons why interactive TV is now called TV 2.0.
Because it is something new coming into our 21st centruy and nothing we havnt experienced before in our lives.
3.) Outline the positives and negatives of implementing interactive TV.
A postive is that viewers can try something new with implementing it. A negative is that viewers might not want to watch some programs for there own reasons.
4.) Apple released recently Apple TV – Take 2. Describe the reasons why it needed to be changed.
It needed to be changed because its something new to the people and it hasnt been done before.

1.) Explain the purpose of using ‘youtube’ as a source of digital media advertising?
The purpose youtube is a source of digital media advertising because it is one of the most visited websites in the world and advertising advertising there product use it as an advantage to get the product advertisement out and show us some great features and the price about the product.
2.) Discuss how collaborative media sites such as youtube, myspace and bebo have changed the current boundaries of media such as news, advertising ect.
It has broken the barrier for finacial purposes because advertising things on the news and magazines etc cost lots and lots of money so the media use the internet and collaborative site to get out the latest news and advertise products.
3.) Provide a link to an advertising commercial on youtube.

Individual Task 3

1.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’
The honesty of a person’s morals.2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.Maximillian Kolbe is regared as a christian of exemplary moral integrity because he gave up his life up for a complete stranger as did jesus for the sake of humanity which shows the christian side of him. He was very honest about his moral because he did what he said he will do and lay down his life for a complte stranger.
3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz.Maximillian’s actions were giving up his life which is sacrafice, he kept to his word which is honest morals.
4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings.
Kolbe made the right desicion for giving up his life because jesus said there is no greater love then giving up your life for someone and in which jesus gave up his life for all humanity.
