So far in this mini project I’v learnt how to use Flash appropriately like creating a motion and shape tween, motion guide, wokring with layers and timeline effects, cloud animation and a basic idea of the walk cycle. If I put all the totourials Mr Hayes has tought me I could use them for good purposes and get an A on this project.

- How do you feel the media portrays social justice issues?
Thye protray them in a overexagerated way just to get more attention and sell more papers and get more money.
- Has it been difficult to find articles on social justice issues why/why not?
Yes it has because its too hard to find a simple article and do a media watch presentation on it but thanks to the teacher they found the class all these moral and social justice article which saved me and my group alot of time.
- Do you think that the media operates from a moral framework? Give evidence by using your research

-
What influences your values about issues relating to your life?
The media influences my values to my life just like seeing people that are different like different race or religion and when I see them I straight away think of what the media has portrayed them as eg poor bombings, shootings etc and that’s why the media has a big impact on my values to other races and religions.
-
Do you ever compare images/values presented by the media to those of the bible? If so why? If not why not?
I don’t because I don’t know much images or values from the bible which is bad for me so i really can’t compare media from the bible in my case.
Has this project challenged you to examine your values? Why / Why not
Yes it has because i’ve just realised the media has a huge affect on my life because they and especially today our think pair share activity with those images we were given and they were something completely different to what us students thought it would be.

- How do you feel the media portrays social justice issues?
They portray it in a negative aspect because whenever there is a social justice issue its always bad and there is never a good social justice interview and the positive impact it has on the community.
- Has it been difficult to find articles on social justice issues why/why not?
It’s been easy because our article is Sonny Bill Williams and its a present issue and there’s more articles and more facts given out to use in my groups media watch presentation.
Do you think that the media operates from a moral framework? Give evidence by using your research.
The media never has a moral framework with their articles because if there selling money their happy. A issue would be is Sonny Bill Williams which im researching now for my project the media makes Sonny Bill look like a coward for walking out of the bulldogs and He isn’t turning up to French Rugby training but he probaly has his own reasons for not going and the public gets the wrong veiw of that by thinking hes a coward and he’s just there for the money.

What have you learnt ?
I’ve learnt that things aren’t always what they seem and the media has a great affect on changing our veiws to lots of thing like the simple things like pictures and people.\
What have you learnt about learning?
I’ve learnt about learning this new way is that it’s quiet good listening to other peoples opinions no matter how different they are to everyone elses and its better then being told what to do and how to think.

1. Open and read the “How to write a critique” document in the resources menu.
Describe what is a critique.
<!– /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:”"; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:”Times New Roman”; mso-fareast-font-family:”Times New Roman”; mso-ansi-language:EN-AU;} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} –>

A critique involves identifying critical things to say about an article and resisting the temptation to describe rather than analyse. Let’s look at the difference.
Description is just stating facts – though each person will have a different idea of what facts are the most important ones. Description is a lot easier than analysis, which is breaking things up into themes and putting them together.
2. Outline the FOUR stages in a critique.
<!– /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:Wingdings; panose-1:5 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0; mso-font-charset:2; mso-generic-font-family:auto; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:0 268435456 0 0 -2147483648 0;} /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:”"; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:”Times New Roman”; mso-fareast-font-family:”Times New Roman”; mso-ansi-language:EN-AU;} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} /* List Definitions */ @list l0 {mso-list-id:244145841; mso-list-type:hybrid; mso-list-template-ids:239613734 -1151728404 197641 328713 66569 197641 328713 66569 197641 328713;} @list l0:level1 {mso-level-number-format:bullet; mso-level-text:; mso-level-tab-stop:.25in; mso-level-number-position:left; margin-left:.25in; text-indent:-.25in; mso-ansi-font-size:10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; font-family:Symbol;} ol {margin-bottom:0in;} ul {margin-bottom:0in;} –>
/* Style Definitions */
table.MsoNormalTable
{mso-style-name:”Table Normal”;
mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0;
mso-tstyle-colband-size:0;
mso-style-noshow:yes;
mso-style-parent:”";
mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt;
mso-para-margin:0in;
mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt;
mso-pagination:widow-orphan;
font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:”Times New Roman”;}
A critique usually has 4 parts:
· An introduction (which directs the reader’s attention to the publication and your response to it)
· A summary of the article
· Your analysis or critical commentary on the original text
· Your evaluation or conclusion
3. Can a critique be positive? Discuss.
It could be either positive or negative because it depends on the topic that has been said if its controversial or not or if the writer will write what they think so it will be bias to the positive or negative.
4. Critique the accuracy of the following articles:
Beijing Olympic: Are They Are Trap?
The issue being disscussed on the video is that is the Beijing Olympic Games are a trap for athletes and fans. This is important because it threatens the safety of both athletes and fans at Beijing. I believe that this article is a waste of time and the people of Beijing would never do that to harm the public.
The article talks about the Olympics and how there going to be a trap for althletes and fans. The people disscusing how the games are really going to be a trap and that the cpn struction sites are known to the panalist as the “holes in the ground” which are going to be cover by bushes and leaves to trap the athletes and fans attending the games.
The importance is the threat that the athletes are under and security for them will be great. But if this issue occurs the people in the article would be right but they didn’t have any evidence so this can’t be proven crroect by these people in the article.
Iv conclued that like in my introduction that this article was a waste of time and the athletes have nothing to worry about this article was just to get attention from the public.
2 year old Donkey called up to Pro Donkey Basketball League
The issue being talked about is about a 2 year old donkey named scraps going to be a Pro basketball donkey. This article isn’t that important because its just a donkey playing basketball and doesn’t anyone in today’s society.
The article is about Scraps a donkey offered to play pro donkey basketball. It’s has taken 5 fundraisers to promote him to pro basketball league. He has been talked up “one of the best players in a long time” The sports reporter also comments on one such Donkey that has ‘gone down the wrong path’ by not eating at all.
It isn’t that important to most people who support sport because no one really care about Pro Donkey Basketball League. My expert opion that the sports reporter had little evidence to support his story and if he had an interview with scrap’s rider his story would be correct.
After watching the article i find this not true because i looked it up in further research and didn’t find any storys on a Pro Donkey Basketball Player.

1. Describe TWO things that you have learnt during this lesson.
First point is that is I’ve learnt how the media change and modify stories for all the wrong reasons. The second point is that if the media have the wrong information they will over exaggerate the story to gain more money and sell more newspapers.
2. Identify TWO areas you want to concentrate on during this project that you think need a greater improvement from the last project.
First area that i want to improve on is presentation because that’s where i loose most of my marks and its one of the best things to learn in this lifetime. Second area would be organization because without that all my mark will just slip and get me a low mark.
3. Discuss TWO ways in which your group could resolve any disputes during this process.
Having a group meeting and saying what all the group members feel about this problem and find a sloution to solve it. Second would be is to get the teacher invovled and leave the consequence of the problem to the teacher.

investigate the different possible shapes of space-closed,flat and open.
Closed: A Closed universe is high enough mass the universe will decrease and all gravitational pull will pull to the centre like our planet earth and everything will become superheated and a supernova will happen all over again.
Flat: A Flat universe is when the universe will never expand nor reverse.
Open: A Open universe is a low enough mass for the universe to exapnd forever and never stop expanding.
